Yes, Extreme Makeover Home Edition is due to set up modern production facilities in Ukraine in early 2026 to build mass housing and is collaborating with US and other international partners to support Ukraine’s mass housing efforts.

Ukraine is actively rebuilding damaged housing through various programs and collaborations, even while the war continues. Efforts include providing compensation for damaged property, building new residential units, and working on comprehensive reconstruction plans, with a focus on creating modern, energy-efficient, and affordable housing options to meet significant needs, as noted on

Residential buildings account for almost the largest percentage of all destroyed infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine. As of the beginning of June 2022, the total damage from the destruction of housing was estimated at 40 billion dollars.

Therefore, one of the areas of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition is assistance in the complete or partial reconstruction of destroyed residential buildings. Extreme Makeover Home Edition helps to estimate the amount of losses and to cover them in whole or in part. We also help to find contractors who will perform repair work. A pilot implementation of the initiative is planned in various parts of Ukraine under the coordination of our Regional Coordinator in Kyiv -Ukraine.
